The new FUJIN is ENKEI's first lightweight Tuning wheel. It is a light weight street wheel designed for the everyday driver but with added MAT technology performance benefits.
The Fujin, named after the Japanese god of wind, is made for enthusiasts looking for a light, strong, and stylish wheel at a very affordable price point. It is built using the same MAT technology as the Enkei racing series wheels and is available in 17 and 18-inch configurations to fit a wide variety of vehicles.
The low weight, high strength, and value pricing of the Fujin make it ideal for those looking for improved performance and sleek styling without breaking the bank. All of these features are sure to make the Fujin a common sight at autocross events and track days everywhere.
Having a light weight wheel helps improve braking, acceleration and can even help with fuel economy. You'd be surprised how much difference a few pounds makes. Named after the Japanese god of wind, the Fujin is bound to help you breeze through traffic not only with style but with better overall performance.
Enkei developed a new manufacturing process to produce the next aluminum wheel generation. The Most Advanced Technology (M.A.T) combines one-piece cast wheel technology with a rim forming technology called spinning process. Using this new technology of casting and rim forming by M.A.T process, is critical to improve drastically the material property and strength of the wheels. Rim-Rolled technology shapes the rim to improve material elongation withoutsacrificing the wheels hardness.
In racing there are no compromises and the passion to maximize performance is never ending. Enkei's involvement at the highest levels of competition enables our engineers to apply their technology to the ultimate test. Direct to the racetrack to the street, M.A.T. Technology features forged processes at a lower cost.
All Enkei wheels are engineered to pass rigorous testing. In fact, Enkei established its own test standard called "Spec-E," which is tougher than JWL requirements. Enkei's Spec-E test setting requires a higher drop point in the impact test and 20% more cycles for the rotary bending fatigue and dynamic radial fatigue tests than JWL standards. The Spec-E represents Enkei's confidence in its technology and quality of Enkei wheels.
