DESCRIPTIONMishimoto has developed a performance air intake engineered specifically for the 2015+ Subaru WRX. The intake features numerous innovative components, including a wire-reinforced lower induction hose that will not collapse under suction and boost. Dyno testing showed maximum gains of up to 33 whp and 30 wtq and peak gains of up to 28 whp and 21 wtq while maintaining safe AFRs on the stock tune. Dyno testing also yielded results of up to 70 whp with the Mishimoto tune kit and intake with 93 octane fuel while maintaining safe AFRs (see additional images for dyno chart). This intake has a unique and aggressive tone under acceleration and boost, and the free-flowing design amplifies turbocharger spool and BPV sounds. Check out the sound video to hear the tone.

The stock intake duct is utilized to provide cool airflow to the high-flow Mishimoto oiled air filter, which features increased filtration surface area compared to the stock paper filter. This filter can be cleaned and reused, providing a lifetime of service. The intake is optionally available with an enclosed airbox for protection against engine bay heat-soak, and it provides a stock-like engine bay appearance as well. This unit is a complete bolt-on that functions perfectly with the stock tune and can be installed in one hour using common hand tools. Made in the USA and available with either polished or wrinkle black aluminum intake piping, this kit includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty, ensuring superior product quality and craftsmanship.

LIFETIME WARRANTY


Mishimoto Performance (MP), warrants all of its products under its 'no questions asked' limited lifetime warranty policy. Regardless of the defect in product, Mishimoto will replace the original product. Warranty claims must be accompanied by the original sales receipt from an authorized dealer.

A trained professional should install all MP products. Any issues with compatibility or installation should be addressed before attempting to install the product.

The purchaser's remedy for breach of this limited warranty, exclusive of all other remedies provided by law, is expressly limited to repair or replacement of any part or parts. All products returned for warranty consideration must be returned to MP with all transportation expenses prepaid.

MP shall not be responsible for damages to its products or injury to persons using the products in any manner that would constitute improper operation, including but not limited to: incorrect opening of radiator pressure caps, burst hoses, unintended application or usage not intended by MP, negligence, improper installation, or any other use that may cause damages or injury. MP shall not be responsible for injury or harm to persons or property when caused by persons or vehicles using its products.

Accident Protection

Mishimoto, under its no questions asked warranty policy, will provide a warranty for all claims including vehicles involved in accidents. Warranty claims must include pictures of the accident and an official police report, and must be within three months of the accident.

Fitment Disclaimer

All Mishimoto products are engineered to fit with OEM applications, as well as other Mishimoto products.

Mishimoto will not be held responsible for fitment issues caused by attempted installation of additional aftermarket parts. This includes, but is not limited to, performance parts and any other non-OEM replacement parts. Fitment with different brands cannot be guaranteed.

Furthermore, Mishimoto will not be held responsible for fitment issues caused by an accident. Many times, clearances needed for installation are very strict. If a vehicle has been involved in a front-end accident, available space for a product such as a thicker aluminum radiator may be compromised.
