If you have a stock bike, then you can just slide this in and go, but we really designed this to maximize storage on bikes with the NCY engine extension and NCY lowered seat frame. If you've done these mods, then you still need to route all your wiring under the frame crossmember and grind off the coolant catchtank post for this to fit.
