Agency Power Carbon Fiber Intercooler | Intake Pipe Kit Nissan Skyline R35 GTR 09-12
Based off of our successful Nissan GT-R project car, we have taken our upgraded intercooler and intake pipe kit 1 step further by offering it in carbon fiber. The top intercooler pipes are done in a tubular carbon fiber sleeve so it is 1 piece. This gives the part extreme strength to run under high boost. The carbon fiber pipes also do not retain heat as much as the aluminum ones. Designed also to add some style to the engine bay, the carbon fiber tubes are complimented with 6061 CNC aluminum flanges for the stock or aftermarket blow off valves and sensors. The lower intercooler pipes which are not visible are retained in aluminum and then powdercoated black. These TIG welded pipes are 3 inch diameter and fit with the factory intercooler. All couplers and clamps are included with the intercooler pipes for fitting. The clamps should be torqued to about 20lbs/in.
In addition, our intercooler pipes require the use of our shorty intakes. Also done in tubular sleeve carbon fiber, they feature a CNC machined MAF mount. We include K&N cone filters to give the GTR the best in air filtration. The intakes do require your Nissan GT-R to be tuned as the change in air flow can disrupt the factory ECU mapping. The intercooler piping inconjunction with the short ram intakes made an impressive 30 wheel horsepower and 24ft/lbs of torque on the Mustang Dyno. The power curve was improved throughout the entire RPM band for an overall driveability improvement.
